Co-op Advertising
The Tourism Bureau uses its buying power to contract with print, radio, digital, and other media and then offers opportunities for lodging properties to participate in advertising opportunities that they would not normally be able to afford on their own. YMCTB pays 30% of the space plus design costs and divides the remaining costs between the co-op partners.
For instance, a full-page ad in a major lifestyle magazine could run $10,000 per issue. If there are four co-op partners, the cost per partner would only be $1,750.
Program Updates
To simplify participation and provide greater visibility for our partners, we’ve updated the Yosemite Mariposa County Tourism Bureau’s Co-op Advertising Program.
Co-op advertising opportunities and pricing will now be released twice each fiscal year, allowing partners to better plan their marketing investments. The current round of opportunities is available through November 30, 2026. Partners interested in participating should contact Aaron Demery at AaronD at yosemite.com to express their interest.
NOTE: If there is interest for participating in the Visit California newsletter, interest for that co-op needs to be received by August 15, 2026.
A key enhancement to the program is that most placements will now feature a single partner showcase rather than multiple businesses sharing the same advertisement. This provides participating businesses with greater exposure and a more focused message.
Once a placement is selected, the Noble Studios team will work directly with each partner to gather creative assets, develop the advertisement, and manage the approval process. After creative is finalized, Noble will coordinate with the media vendor to secure the next available placement date and complete all contracting. Following the campaign, performance reporting will be shared with participating partners.
