Disappointed that your kids won’t have direct learning experiences with teachers in-person this fall? The expert instructors at NatureBridge have created a new Family Camp program that allows families to enjoy a stay in Yosemite National Park, while exploring, learning, and creating memories together.
Learn About NatureBridge’s Family Camp Program
Founded in 1971, NatureBridge provides environmental science programs in the world’s best classrooms—our national parks. Their mission is to connect young people to the wonder and science of the natural world, igniting self-discovery and inspiring stewardship of our planet. As the largest residential education partner of the National Park Service, NatureBridge serves more than 30,000 people each year and offers programs in four national parks: Yosemite National Park, Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Olympic National Park and Prince William Forest Park.
NatureBridge’s environmental science school programs in Yosemite National Park offer students in grades 4-12 the opportunity to engage in inclusive, hands-on learning experiences in one of the world’s most iconic national parks. Students explore the deep valleys, grand meadows, and sequoia forests, while challenging themselves physically, building meaningful relationships and discovering a caring relationship with the natural world.
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, NatureBridge has suspended all overnight school programs for the 2020–2021 school year but hopes to resume those programs in Fall 2021. If you would like more information about in-person programs for the future, please contact NatureBridge’s Outreach team at firstname.lastname@example.org or 209-336-3043.
