Mariposa County Fair
September 1 - September 4
Since 1939 the Mariposa County Fair has been providing family fun to the people of Mariposa and other surrounding communities. Agricultural events, displays, demonstrations, entertainment, a carnival, a midway and more provide old-fashioned fun for the young and young-at-heart.
The 2023 Mariposa County Fair begins Friday at 10:00 AM with animal exhibit judging, Carnival festivities open at 4:00 pm. Rodeo events begin at 6:00 pm on Friday. On Saturday, the annual parade through the town of Mariposa starts at 11:00 AM and the carnival opens at noon while the destruction derby starts at 7:00 PM.
