Pause on your drive up the beautiful Merced River Canyon along Highway 140 for a stop at the El Portal Market. The small convenience store stocks snacks, drinks, takeaway sandwiches, toiletries, and other necessities for your trip.
This is also the last place for gas heading into the park on State Hwy 140 so be sure to gas up if you are running low.
