Overview
Yosemite National Park features 13 popular campgrounds, all of which require reservations from April through October. In the winter months, Camp 4, Wawona, and Hodgdon Meadow operate on a first-come, first-served basis, though they often fill up on weekends and holidays.
Reservation release times vary by campground. Most non-lottery reservations become available at 7 a.m. Pacific Time and are typically claimed within minutes.
To increase your chances of securing a spot, ensure your clock is accurate, log in to Recreation.gov, and be ready before 7 a.m. Pacific Time. Additional guidance and answers to common questions are also available to assist with the reservation process.
