Join the Yosemite Conservancy on a guided adventure through Yosemite Valley.
Yosemite Valley’s remarkable rock formations are among the park’s most recognizable features. On this guided adventure, explore the ancient forces that created icons like Half Dome, Glacier Point, El Capitan, and much more with National Park Service Geologist Dr. Greg Stock. He’ll give you the inside story of Yosemite’s peaks, domes, and cliffs — including how glaciation sculpted Yosemite Valley’s massive cliffs and how rockfalls continue to shape them. Bring your scientific curiosity and rock-related questions!
What is included:
- One full day of guided instruction by Yosemite National Park Geologist Dr. Greg Stock
- Free day Saturday, April 18, to explore the park on your own.
- Park entry pass (valid for program dates only)
- Shared tent camping (camping dates cannot be altered)
- No discount is available if you choose not to use the gate pass or campsite.
