Mycology Hike on the Stookey Preserve, Mariposa

Join UC Merced Mycology Grad Student, Chris Bivins, on a historic tour of the fascinating Stookey Preserve in the mountains of Mariposa. This moderate, 2.5-3 mile round-trip hike will have a focus on the mycology (fungi) of the region. Be sure to bring a lunch, and if you are interested in collecting fungi, we recommend you bring a reusable grocery bag with some paper bags. For collecting smaller fungi, a tacklebox also works well!
