31st Annual “Chi-tock-non Kote-u-pu” Mother’s Day Pow Wow

May 10 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

The Mariposa Pow Wow Committee is celebrating their 31st year of hosting our Native American alcohol-free, drug-free, and smoke-free community event. This annual pow wow, will bring together the local communities for a weekend of celebrating the Native American culture, song and dance.

Most importantly, the Pow Wow helps to fund the “Nellie Tucker Scholarship” for local Native American students to further their education through college. The pow wow and the scholarships are administered through committees under the American Indian Council of Mariposa County (AICMC). The AICMC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization administered by the Southern Sierra Miwuk Nation.
