A career travel writer and marketer, Dan Marengo approaches creative assignments with a native NorCal perspective fueled by a worldly (some might say otherworldly) imagination. His passion for Yosemite was forged on a middle-school “Ecology Now” field trip with a hike to the top of Yosemite Falls. Dan has explored California extensively, from climbing the Half Dome cables to birdwatching in Berkeley, scrambling the boulder fields of Joshua Tree to kayaking the Gualala River. He resides in the San Francisco East Bay.
