Silver Fox Vineyards

Silver Fox Vineyards, Award winning Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Rhone varietal wines. Established in 1989, the Silver Fox Vineyard is owned and operated by commercial photographer, Marvin Silver and his wife Karen. The vineyard/winery is located at the 3000′ elevation and is a picture of the latest vineyard technology.

Dedicated to quality, the wines are hand-crafted from the two vineyards of premium hand-picked grapes. Mariposa’s warm days and cool nights help the grapes develop the intense flavors needed to produce the Silvers’ award winning Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Rhone varietal wines. In 1997, The Silver’s Cabernet Sauvignon received a prestigious double gold award. Visitors are welcome to visit the newly-built winery and tasting room, meet the owners/winemaker and enjoy what uncompromising devotion to excellence produces. Open by appointment.
