An easy hike that is best done in spring to early summer for the best swimming. A small waterfall drops into a little pool perfect for swimming. The Fall is a 1.4 mile roundtrip trail located near Coulterville, California. It is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and walking and is best used from March until July.
Greeley Hill Road crosses the North Fork Merced River to Diana Pool just east of the road connecting to Highway 120 at Buck Meadows, and just west of the point where it ends, forking to Bull Creek Road to the south, the Old Yosemite Road to the northeast. On the east side of the bridge, an easy trail follows the North Fork downstream, passing through woods and open areas, a totally scenic, peaceful stroll.
About a mile and a quarter brings you to Diana Pool, where a stream comes in from the side, flanked by cliffs and creating a lovely swimming hole. The trail is pet-friendly but must be kept on leash.
