Book>Direct – For Lodging Only

The Tourism Bureau offers all lodging properties in the area a listing on Book>Direct a re-direct booking engine on Yosemite.com. Similar to Expedia or Booking.com, but Book>Direct provides these bookings at zero cost to you (other than your properties fees from your own reservations system). Chances are, the Tourism Bureau is sending you dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of referrals, and you might not even know it! Your property will be automatically listed in the engine after you have signed up for the listing mentioned above. Feel free to ask us about what kind of traffic we’re sending to your business from Book>Direct

Free Special Offers Listings

Our Special Offers page receives more than 200,000 visits per year. This is a free, ongoing program that helps drive referrals to your business. You are in control – what the offer is, when it is valid, and how it is redeemed. You can submit a special offer at any time. You can view all of the current special offers HERE and get more information about designing your offer HERE.

Co-op Advertising Opportunities

The Tourism Bureau uses its buying power to contract with print, radio, digital, and other media and then offers opportunities for lodging properties to participate in advertising opportunities that they would not normally be able to afford on their own. YMCTB pays 20 – 35% of the space plus design costs and divides the remaining costs between the co-op partners.

For instance, a full-page ad in a major lifestyle magazine could run $10,000 per issue. If there are four co-op partners, the cost per partner would only be $2,000.

Current CO-OPS:

  • Bay Area News Group (BANG) – September (full-page ad + mention + photo)
  • Climbing Magazine – September (full-page ad)
  • Conde Nast Traveler – November (full-page ad)
  • SFGate – September (native advertising article: quotes + photo)
  • Los Angeles Magazine – Travel Section – September (full-page ad + mention)
  • Orange Coast Magazine – Travel Section – September (full-page ad + mention)
