Participants will learn tips and tricks for capturing natural subjects both small and large: from acorns\, flowers\, and trees to distant mountains and granite monoliths. Guided practice will focus on building skills in watercolor\, with additional insights into using pen & ink and colored pencil to refine your sketches. With an emphasis on composition\, field note-taking\, and the art of nature journaling\, this workshop provides a welcoming space to grow your skills and experience the park through sketching practice. Daily sketchbook shares and group discussions offer opportunities for inspiration\, connection\, and sharing diverse perspectives.
