DESCRIPTION:It’s The Grove House’s 9 year anniversary party! Come celebrate with us! \nFree live music featuring The Alex Lucero Band! SUMMARY:Deb Sipes at The Grovehouse
DESCRIPTION:“Deb Sipes is not only a local treasure\, but a universal treasure. Legend has it she learned to play guitar from Jerry Garcia\, and sang backup vocals on his 1969 track Mountains of the Moon. Deb sings straight from the soul\, and has a smooth bluesy style on guitar to back it up. \nDeb and her late husband Frank Sipes were founders of Good Medecine\, a “Pholkadelic” local band that played across the states. Following Franks passing in 2024\, Deb has continued to keep his spirit and songs alive\, and brings joy to all those fortunate enough to hear” \n\n\nOpen: 4PM Music: 7PM

SUMMARY:Moonsville Collective at The Grovehouse
DESCRIPTION:Doors @ 4PM ~ Show @ 7PM \n\n“Moonsville Collective has become the string band the members always wanted it to be. Five years after their last release and following a lineup change\, the Southern California–bred folk band feels a renewed connection to its roots in old-time music circles\, bolstered by the sharpened musical and songwriting skills that come with more experience. \nThat familial feeling is a key piece of the Moonsville Collective puzzle. Dan and Seth Richardson are the only two members related by blood\, but Seth and Adams have known each other since they were teenagers; McQueen has been in the fold for a decade; and Glenn and Adams are neighbors. “The connectedness of the band is really important to us\,” Adams says. \n“We really try to write music for our community\, and for our families and friends\,” he continues. “We’re making music for the sake of making music\, because it’s what comes out of you\, and it should be shared. That’s more of our art form — to just be a part of\, and offer something to\, the community.”
