Yosemite Earth Day Festival and Junior Ranger Day celebration

The event is open to the public and will run from 10am – 3pm.

Join in the fun and celebration on this historic year for the National Parks!

There will be various special programs running, demonstrations throughout the day, Junior Ranger walks, mass-swear in ceremonies and a special ceremony at 2pm recognizing all the partners of YNP.

Find festival booths, activities, games and demonstrations by park staff. Join in and learn about the “Zero Landfill Initiative” for Yosemite National Park. Junior Rangers and attendees will be educated on recycling, reducing and reusing.

REI as an official sponsor will be on location with a mini REI village complete with camping lounge, educational demonstrations, stewardship activities and giveaways!

The California State Parks will also join in on the fun, celebrating their 150th anniversary of the State Park Ranger (Galen Clark, first protector of the Yosemite Grant). Historic vehicles will be displayed and they will be live-streaming the various programs planned.
