Hornitos Enchilada Dinner

The 71st annual Hornitos Enchilada Dinner is set for Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 3:30-8 P.M. at Stagg Hall in Hornitos.

The main course, naturally, is enchiladas and there is also an option of chicken pot pie. Sides are slaw, beans, salsa, garlic bread along with a beverage and dessert.

Cost is $15 for adults and $7 for children.

The event is presented annually by the Hornitos Patrons Club.

The Hornitos Patrons Club uses proceeds for numerous projects and activities in Hornitos and throughout Mariposa County. Those include the Cancer Walk, Salvation Army, Manna House, high school scholarships, upgrades to the St. Catherine’s Church, a roof on the Hornitos schoolhouse, donations to fire victims, Sober Grad Night, a public telephone in Hornitos, 4-H, Field of Service, FFA programs and more.
