Festival hours are Saturday 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. and Sunday 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.\, with a Friday night kickoff scavenger hunt on May 1 in downtown Mariposa. \nOne of the region’s largest annual events\, the festival features live music\, classic cars\, monster trucks\, bounce houses\, pony and train rides\, live butterfly releases\, Jurassic Mariposa\, Fairy Village\, food vendors\, and artisan merchants. Educational exhibits in Habitat Row highlight butterflies\, pollinators\, and local ecosystems\, supporting the festival’s Butterfly Education Program\, which provides hands-on learning opportunities for children throughout the year.
